What you need to make tin can organisers
- Empty, clean food tins
- Drill
- Paint brush and paint
- Twine
Upcycling your tin cans
Wash out your empty food cans, drill a couple of holes at the top, paint to decorate and thread some twine through! Now you can hang up your storage pots in your kitchen or office.
Tip: sand down the sharp edges and use 3-IN-ONE Drip Oil to lubricate, clean and prevent rust forming on your drill.

Upcycling your wooden pallet
Reuse old wooden pallets to create rustic wall shelves. Start by cleaning, sanding and painting or staining for a stylish finish. Once mounted, place your ornaments and books on top to complete the look.
Tip: check for nails before sanding. Also remember to add a little 3-IN-ONE Drip Oil to the wooden handle of your paint brushes to prevent splinters and oil the metal ferrule to prevent rust too!

Upcycling an old wooden step ladder
Repurpose a tired step ladder – it’s great fun! Sand it down, paint it a complementary colour to your interior, let it dry and proudly display your plants.
